Marin has plenty of trails, beaches and small-town main streets, but not many places to walk in and buy cannabis. That’s why most people in the county get it delivered. If you’ve never ordered before, or you’ve only ordered in San Francisco, here’s how cannabis delivery in Marin County works from start to finish.
Is Cannabis Delivery Legal in Marin County?
Yes. In California, adults 21 and over can buy cannabis from a licensed retailer, and licensed retailers can deliver it to a home address. California Street Cannabis is a licensed San Francisco dispensary, and our Marin deliveries run out of our Clement Street store.
Local rules can differ from town to town, so the simplest way to confirm we can reach you is to enter your address on our Marin delivery check before you start shopping.
What You Need Before You Order
A few things make the difference between a smooth delivery and a missed one:
- You need to be 21 or older. Every order is age-verified.
- Have a valid government-issued photo ID ready. A driver’s license, state ID or passport works. The name on the ID needs to match the name on the order.
- Be there to receive it. The person who placed the order has to be at the address to show ID and sign for it. We can’t leave cannabis on a porch or with a neighbor.
- Use a physical address. Deliveries go to a home or another private address. California rules don’t allow cannabis deliveries to public land, so we can’t meet you at a trailhead, park or beach.
How to Order Cannabis Delivery in Marin, Step by Step
Step 1: Check Your Address
Start on the Marin delivery check. Enter your address and you’ll see right away whether you’re in our delivery area, along with the details that apply to your order.
Step 2: Browse the Marin Menu
Once your address is confirmed, you’ll land on our Marin menu with what’s available for delivery. Shop by category, like flower, edibles, pre-rolls, vapes or tinctures, and check the daily deals before you check out.
Step 3: Check Out
Add what you want to your cart and place the order. If you’re a medical patient, a senior or a veteran, make sure your discount is applied to your account.
Step 4: Show Your ID at the Door
When your driver arrives, they’ll check your ID against the order. Once that’s done, your order is yours.
Step 5: Enjoy Responsibly
Your products arrive sealed in discreet packaging with nothing on the outside that says what’s inside. Store them somewhere secure, away from kids and pets.
Delivery Fees, Minimums and Hours
Marin delivery details can be different from San Francisco’s. Instead of guessing, the most accurate source is your cart: the delivery fee, order minimum and available delivery windows all appear at checkout once you’ve entered your Marin address. You can also see our current delivery hours on our contact page.
A tip if you’re ordering for the evening: order earlier in the day. Marin covers a lot of ground, and the farther you are from the Golden Gate Bridge, the more time it helps to build in.

Tips for a Smooth First Order
- Save your address and create an account. Reordering is faster, and you’ll be signed up for member perks.
- Keep your phone nearby. Your driver may need to reach you if your building has a gate or your street is hard to find.
- Start low with edibles. If you’re new to edibles, start with a small dose and give it time. Effects can take an hour or more to show up.
- Ask us anything. Not sure what to get? Call us or stop by one of our San Francisco stores and our budtenders will help you choose.
